Palm Coast – The Palm Coast City Council meets regularly to discuss and vote on official City business. These meetings are open to the public and Palm Coast residents are strongly encouraged to attend. An increase in public engagement helps to build a stronger sense of community, increases valuable discussions, and decreases division.

Presentations
The following proclamations and presentations will be presented:
  1. The City Council will present a proclamation declaring July 2024 as Parks and Recreation Month.
  2. The City Council will present a proclamation declaring July 2024 as Christmas Come True Month.
Minutes
The following minutes of the City Council will be presented for approval:
  1. June 18, 2024, Business Meeting and June 25, 2024, Special Workshop Meeting.
Ordinance First Read
The following ordinances will be read:
  1. The City Administration will present a resolution to approve a proposed amendment to the Charter of the City of Palm Coast, amending Article VI, Budget and Appropriations, to delete outdated provisions relating to limitations to the Council’s contracting authority, which shall be considered by the ballot. The amendment would remove provisions related to Contracting Authority that limit the City’s ability to enter into public-private partnerships, respond to emergencies, and have the ability to address growth by having future residents contribute to infrastructure costs.
Consent
The following resolutions will be presented together for consent:
  1. Resolution approving a master price agreement with Wastewater Solutions, Inc., for variable speed turbine pumps.
  2. Resolution approving a master price agreement with Spirac (USA), inc., for dewatered sludge shaftless spiral conveyor system.
Public Comments will be opened at the beginning and end of the business meeting in accordance with Section 286.0114 Florida Statutes and pursuant to the City Council’s Meeting Policies and Procedures. Each speaker will approach the podium, provide his/her name, and may speak for up to 3 minutes.

Meetings of the Palm Coast City Council typically occur three times per month. A 6 p.m. business meeting on the first Tuesday of the month, a 9 a.m. workshop meeting on the second Tuesday of the month, and a 9 a.m. business meeting on the third Tuesday of the month. All meetings occur in the Community Wing at City Hall at 160 Lake Avenue in Palm Coast.
