EDGEWATER, Fla. – There is nothing like watching the face of a woman whose name has been called for a special recognition. The surprise, the joy, and the genuine support from those surrounding her radiates across the room, enveloping all in the moment.

On Friday, June 21st there was plenty of love and well-wishes to go around as more than a hundred women gathered from across the state to celebrate the 4th anniversary of The BOLD Ladies in Business.

The beach luau themed evening created the ambiance for the event’s tag line, ‘Riding the Wave to Success’, and while keeping the focus on women in business, the program’s line up, from speakers to scholarships showcased what the organization is all about – making connections and building relationships.

Celebrating women from the chapters as ‘queens’ for their tireless work and contributions to their home chapters, the ladies strutted the red carpet, posing for photos as they beamed for the camera.

The evening saw the distribution of $6,000 in scholarships to women in business, and executive director Ana Reyes-Ouzts was proud to announce the organization as a whole had provided $51,000 in charitable contributions since January 2023 as a result of monthly meetings and the generosity of the members to their local charities.

Charitable organizations received $1,000 donations.

“The Bold Ladies in Business Corp. four-year celebration “Ride the Wave to Success” was a testament to the power of community and so much love and generosity,” said Reyes-Ouzts. “I am overwhelmed by the support demonstrated by these amazing BOLD business women and powerful entrepreneurs. We are stronger together! And we are just getting started,” she said.
