Palm Coast – The Palm Coast City Council meets regularly to discuss and vote on official City business. These meetings are open to the public and Palm Coast residents are strongly encouraged to attend. An increase in public engagement helps to build a stronger sense of community, increases valuable discussions, and decreases division.

The agenda for the City Council Business Meeting on Tuesday, June 4, at 6 p.m. will be as follows:

 

Presentations

The following proclamations and presentations will be presented:

  1. The Parks and Recreation Department will provide a presentation on Ralph Carter Park. This presentation includes information on the importance of youth sports, an update on operations and maintenance, and data on sports participation and field and park usage.

Minutes

The following minutes of the City Council will be presented for approval:

  1. May 21, 2024, Business Meeting, and May 28, 2024, Special Budget Workshop Meeting.

Resolutions

The following resolutions will be presented:

  1. The Parks and Recreation Department will present a resolution for approval for a memorandum of understanding between the City of Palm Coast and the Flagler County School District. This Memorandum of Understanding correlates to the Joint Use of Real Property and Facilities and Coordination of Programs and Services, officially approved and signed on July 27, 2023. The MOU serves as an adjunct to the Master Agreement, focusing specifically on outlining the terms and conditions for City maintenance operations of six school-owned athletic fields located at Indian Trails Middle School and Indian Trails Sports Complex.
  2. The Stormwater and Engineering Department will present a resolution for approval for a contract with MASCI Construction, Inc. for a work order for construction engineering and inspection services, and a project contingency for the arterial resurfacing project. The milling and resurfacing of the Arterial Roadways Project will consist of the following roadways: Royal Palms Pkwy., Rymfire Dr., and Pine Lakes Pkwy. This project is budgeted for in the FY24 Street Improvement fund.

Consent

The following resolutions will be presented together for consent:

  1. Resolution approving a Contract with Gentry Sod Farms for Sod Replacement for the Ralph Carter Park Rehab and Renewal Project.
  2. Resolution approving piggybacking the Lancaster County, Nebraska contract with Uretek Usa, Inc., for Soil Stabilization Services as needed.
  3. Resolution approving a Work Order with Connect Consulting, Inc., for Construction and Testing of Well SW-147 and Construction and Testing of Two (2) Brackish Monitoring Wells.
  4. Resolution approving a piggyback the Naspo Master Agreement 43210000-23-Naspo-Acs Contract with Dell Marketing L.P., for Computer Equipment Purchases.

Public Comments will be opened at the beginning and end of the business meeting in accordance with Section 286.0114 Florida Statutes and pursuant to the City Council’s Meeting Policies and Procedures. Each speaker will approach the podium, provide his/her name, and may speak for up to 3 minutes.

Meetings of the Palm Coast City Council typically occur three times per month. A 6 p.m. business meeting on the first Tuesday of the month, a 9 a.m. workshop meeting on the second Tuesday of the month, and a 9 a.m. business meeting on the third Tuesday of the month. All meetings occur in the Community Wing at City Hall at 160 Lake Avenue in Palm Coast.
