DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – (Oct. 28, 2022) – Magicians from around the world will descend onto the Daytona Beach Area on Nov. 4-6 for the 20th Annual Daytona Beach Festival of Magic Convention. Convention activities will be at The Shores Resort & Spa and the News-Journal Center.

The Daytona Beach Festival of Magic Convention will include shows, dealers, lectures, workshops and stage and close-up contests at The Shores Resort & Spa. In addition, The News-Journal Center will host a pair of large stage shows on Friday, Nov. 4 and Saturday, Nov. 5 at 8 p.m. and will feature performers from popular shows such as NBC’s America’s Got Talent and Penn and Teller’s Fool Us as well as cruise ship performers.

“Daytona Beach is proud to welcome back the Daytona Beach Festival of Magic Convention for its 20th year in the destination,” said Lori Campbell Baker, Executive Director for the Daytona Beach Area CVB. “We’re excited to have this convention return to Daytona Beach year and year and bring positive economic impact to our local community. Daytona Beach will serve as a great backdrop for the convention and provide its guests with high-quality accommodations and a wealth of activities.”

“We’re having some of the biggest names in attendance for this year’s Daytona Beach Festival of Magic,” said Harry Allen, who has operated Daytona Magic since 1957 and is based in Daytona Beach along Beach Street. “It’s going to be a great weekend of magic.”

Convention admission is $175 for the entire weekend with Friday single-day admission $115 and Saturday single-day admission $120. Tickets are $50 for each night for the stage shows at The News-Journal Center.
